Join the UAR Oceania Asia Network
Supporting responsible communication about animal research across Asia.
The UAR Oceania Asia Network brings together life science organisations across Asia that are committed to improving how animal research is communicated to the public.
Across the region, many institutions carry out world-class science and maintain high standards of animal welfare, yet there are few opportunities to share experience, develop good practice in communication, or demonstrate these commitments publicly.
The Asia Network has been created to address this gap. It provides a forum for organisations to learn from one another, draw on international experience, and contribute to a more open and informed conversation about animal research.
The Network is part of Understanding Animal Research Oceania, an independent non-profit organisation that works with research institutions, universities, and companies to support responsible communication about the use of animals in scientific research.
The initiative is being developed with early founding members across the region, helping to build a long-term community focused on transparency, good welfare, and public understanding.
